Project Description
Reed & Reed was selected as the EPC contractor for construction of the 57mw Stetson Mountain project. The scope of work includes geotechnical exploration and analysis, permitting, final design of the civil, structural and electrical components of the project, equipment staging, construction of roads, turbine sites, power collection system, grounding system, foundations, WTG erection, tower electrical work and the O & M building. As turnkey contractor, Reed & Reed formed a project team including designers and subcontractors and is managing the entire project while self-performing foundations and WTG erection for the 38 GE 1.5mw turbines. Reed & Reed took delivery of its first new Manitowoc 440t crawler crane at Stetson for the erection of WTGs.
