Project Description
Reed & Reed’s contract included demolition of the existing concrete pier deck over rock filled timber cribs, installation of 17 bents consisting of socketed 30 in pipe piles with rock dowels and cast-in-place pier caps and erection of a precast concrete beam and plank system for the suprestructure. The new pier is 400 feet long by 30 feet wide and includes fender systems, wave barriers, concrete floating docks, utilities and other ancillary facilities.
